Attach Files

All LORROS Activities allow you to upload any type of file. There are Add Files buttons available when you start any activity, as well as, in comments and replies.

To upload a file:

  1. Click “Add a File”

  2. Select the source of the file*

  3. Select “Choose File”

  4. Select the file from your source (your source may prompt you to select open after clicking the file)

  5. Click save (if you uploaded the wrong file, click the red “X” to delete)

  6. If the rest of the activity or comment is complete, then hit “Submit”

*some sources may require you to log in to a third-party application, like Google Drive. If you don’t wish to log in to the third-party application then save the file to your desktop and add the file from there.

An alternative to steps 3-4 above, you can drag and drop a file into the space shown on the screen.

Once uploaded, to edit the name of a file:

  1. Click “Edit”

  2. Type in a new name Click “Edit File Name”

To delete the file:

  1. Click “Edit”

  2. Click the red “X”

Access the Group files from the main toolbar in the Group dashboard. You can access files uploaded in Activities from the dashboard at the top of the Activity page and from the specific Background, Comment or Reply to which it is attached.

Once you upload a file you can change the name. It’s good practice to use a name that is specific so it can be easily found with keyword searching.
