# Adding a Poll

To start a Poll from a Meeting Agenda Topic:

1. Click “Extras” from the expanded view of the Agenda Topic.
2. Click “Start a Poll”.
3. Type in a question.
4. Choose a close date.
5. Add the background *(see* [*Attach Files*](/lorros-guide/activities/attach-files.md)*)*.
6. Add up to 5 answers.
7. Click “Submit”

Once created, the Poll is linked to the Agenda Topic.
